Group Exercise Classes

‘Mini & Me’ Post Partum Exercise Classes

Mini & Me’ classes run Tuesday mornings at the Nuriootpa Netball Clubrooms at 9:00am. Classes go for 45 minutes, and run in 6 or 10 week blocks (mostly in line with the SA school terms).

Classes are small in order to ensure an appropriate physio to client ratio so that everyone receives the supervision and attention they deserve. Classes focus on postpartum rehabilitation particularly of the core, pelvic floor and postural control muscles.

Women from 6 weeks postpartum are welcome to attend, given they have had a Pre-Class Assessment 1:1 appointment. Classes are suitable and beneficial no matter what the birth of your baby or babies was like (whether vaginal or cesarean deliveries).

Women up to 12 months postpartum get the most out of Mini & Me, however you are welcome to attend if your babies are now more like toddlers or kindy kids and you’re looking for a gentle and pelvic floor focused workout! We commonly say ‘post-partum is for life’ - it’s always important to look after your pelvic floor and to find ways to exercise that are enjoyable and accessible!

‘Mini & Me’ classes can be attended for a once off block as a way for you to gradually return to more high impact exercise in your post-partum journey (or you might love it so much you want to keep going!) ‘Mini & Me’ is a great rehabilitation tool to get you back to running, the gym, netball or any other high impact sport or activity.
